Cognitive Juris
Effective 16 September 2026 · Ignite9 LLC
These terms govern use of the Cognitive Juris platform (the "Platform"), operated by Ignite9 LLC ("we", "us"), by the professional firm that subscribes to it (the "Firm") and the people the Firm authorises to use it ("Users"). By signing in you accept these terms on behalf of your Firm.
The Platform turns a Firm's own documents and expertise into supervised AI assistance: research and drafting, content and video production with a consented digital presenter or a virtual presenter, publishing to third-party platforms the Firm connects, lead capture, and reporting. Output is a draft for professional review. The Platform does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing it produces is advice to any client of the Firm until a qualified professional at the Firm has reviewed and approved it.
The Firm's administrator creates User accounts and assigns roles. Users keep their credentials confidential and are responsible for activity under their account. We may suspend accounts that threaten the security or integrity of the Platform.
Documents, knowledge graphs, claims, prompts, generated drafts, images, audio and video created for a Firm remain the Firm's property and are stored in the Firm's isolated workspace. We use them only to provide the service to that Firm. We do not use one Firm's content to serve another. Generated output may be similar to output produced for others where the inputs are similar.
A digital presenter based on a real person may be created only with that person's documented consent, recorded in the Platform's consent ledger, and may be revoked by them at any time, which deletes the likeness from the Platform and its synthesis providers. Virtual presenters are labelled as such. The Firm is responsible for obtaining any client, employee or third-party consent its content requires.
The Firm is responsible for compliance with the rules that govern its profession, including attorney-advertising, tax-practice and consumer-protection rules in every jurisdiction where its content is published. The Platform's compliance checks, claims registry and approval workflow assist with this but do not replace the Firm's judgement. Content that asserts results, credentials or statistics must be supported by evidence the Firm has verified.
The Platform applies the disclosures and platform flags for synthetic media that third-party platforms require and preserves generation metadata for each asset. The Firm must not remove those disclosures and must not use the Platform to impersonate any person or organisation, to make unapproved endorsements, or to publish misleading content.
Publishing, mail and analytics use accounts the Firm connects (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, Google, Microsoft and others). Their terms apply to that use. Access tokens are stored encrypted and can be disconnected at any time. The Platform also uses AI model, voice and video synthesis providers to render content; their processing is described in our Privacy Policy.
Users may not upload unlawful content or content they have no right to use, attempt to access another Firm's workspace, probe or overload the service, or use it to send unsolicited communications in breach of applicable law.
Fees, usage caps and term are set out in the Firm's order or subscription agreement. Either party may end the service as that agreement provides; on termination the Firm may export its workspace for thirty days, after which it is deleted as described in our data deletion instructions.
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that generated output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose; the Firm reviews output before relying on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by the Firm in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the Platform at least fourteen days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes are heard in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York.
